Mostafa started his career as a Software Engineer at EDS ( now DXC Technology) helping General Motors build an enterprise software system to manage its fleet and cut operating costs.

In 2006, he emigrated from Cairo, Egypt to Chicago, IL to pursue a master’s degree in computer science. After stops at enterprise software and tech start-up companies in Silicon Valley, he joined the consulting units of cloud companies where he helped Fortune 500 firms through the different stages of their cloud transformation journey.

He brings a unique skill set to enterprises by not only diving deep and listening to different perspectives but also involving business as well as technical stakeholders to communicate and rapidly achieve the desired outcomes. His traveling for business and pleasure took him to more than thirty states and ten countries.

Prior to launching CloudRoads, Mostafa was a Solutions Architect at Docker Enterprise (now part of Mirantis)  where he helped enterprise companies build, ship, and run cloud-native applications on-premises and public cloud.

When not serving clients or tinkering with technology, he likes to travel the world , hang out with family and friends, volunteer at the local food pantry, and read avidly.
